Morocco
21 - 30 April
Our first destination is Morocco (uh huh I know, total culture shock)! This was one of the first places we both agreed that we just HAD to see. We're flying into Tangier and from there will be making our way down to Chefchaouen, Fez, Merzouga and Marrakesh.
Greece
1 - 14 MAY
After Morocco, we fly to Greece and head straight to the island of Corfu for a few days. Then, it wouldn't be a first-time trip to Greece without visiting the Greek Islands, so we are heading down to Mykonos and Santorini!
Italy
15 MAY - 8 JUNE
Italy was a total no-brainer for us and, even with 3 weeks there, we wish we could have more time! We start off with a week exploring Sicily before driving up through southern Italy stopping in places such as Matera, Alberobello and spending some time in the Amalfi Coast. From there we head to Florence, the Tuscan countryside, Cinque Terre and Venice.
Croatia
8 - 16 June
Croatia looks sooo stunning and we're particularly excited about the National Parks here. We fly into Zagreb, plan on doing a trip to Lake Bled in Slovenia before making our way down to the Plitvice National Park and Krka National Park. Following that we have a few days to explore Dubrovnik and the surrounding area.
Hungary
16 - 19 June
Budapest has come highly recommended to us by many friends and family who have travelled, so as we make our way North, we just have to stop in this beautiful city to see what all the fuss is about!
Austria
19 - 26 June
There were two main reasons Austria was on our list - it's beauty and history! From Budapest, we are catching the train to Vienna and make our way across to Salzburg stopping in at places such as Linz (there's a Concentration Camp near here that we want to see), Ramsau and Hallstatt.
Switzerland
29 June - 2 July
We absolutely LOVE the mountains so Switzerland (and Austria) is where we will hopefully get our fix! We are starting our Swiss experience in Zurich and heading to Lucerne, Interlakken and Lauterbrunnen before jumping on our flight north to Scandinavia.
Norway
1 - 11 July
The rumours are true, it is expensive to travel to Scandinavian countries but there was just no way we could miss Norway. Everything we love the sound of is in this beautiful country. We will be making our way from Oslo up to Alesund, stopping to explore on the way. Bergen is in there too and an absolute must-do for us is the Trolltunga hike, which we are doing as an overnight camping experience!
Iceland
11 - 18 July
Being a wedding photographer, I see lots of photos on Instagram of couples eloping to Iceland and getting hitched in front of mammoth waterfalls and in beautiful, rugged landscapes and I just have to see it in the flesh! We want to be completely flexible here, so have hired a camper van for a week and will be driving around, exploring at will.
Amsterdam
18 - 21 July
From Iceland, we wanted to have a few days in Amsterdam before heading down to Spain and Portugal. Here we plan to explore the beautiful city by bike and maybe even visit a nice coffee shop!
Spain
21 - 26 July
Here we go, back to the heat! From Amsterdam, we fly back down to Barcelona for a couple of days before also heading to Valencia. So excited to see these vibrant places!
Portugal
26 - 31 July
Our final stop before heading home! Portugal was another highly recommended country and a must-do for us. It looks utterly beautiful. We are starting in Porto, hiring a car and making our way down the coast stopping in Lisbon and Lagos.
